Lizanne earned her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1987 from the University of Vermont and has been and practicing in and around San Francisco since 1989. She also holds a master’s degree in Somatic Psychology from The California Institute of Integral Studies. She has worked and taught in San Francisco and overseas. She incorporates extensive neurologic, orthopedic and somatic training into her specialty of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and believes that a person’s recovery process must include a balance of skilled manual therapy with a grounded practice of sensory awareness: a core tenet of the somatic philosophy.
